In the November 2011 issue of The Atlantic Monthly magazine Dave Denison wrote about his bowling camp experience.  Dave took advantage of the housing and meal package offered with our partners at Mount Saint Mary College; this included staying in a traditional dorm room, dining at the facilities on campus, local transportation to and from the lanes, the evening activities offered and bowling at Schneider's Fishkill Bowl on Route 82 in the Hudson River Valley region. Read about his experience and thoughts. Ritger Grads Perform well at World Series of Bowling

Dick Ritger Bowling Camp graduates, Tyler Jensen and Kelly Kulick are having a good showing at the World Series of Bowling in Las Vegas. All bowlers competed in four daily events, with the combined qualifying scores going towards the PBA World Championship qualifying.

Jensen made to cuts with a top finish of 8th place. Kulick made one cut with a top finish of 7th place. Both qualified for the PBA World Series of Bowling.  Jensen finished 19th for $3,100 and Kulick finished 43rd for $1,940. Both Jensen and Kulick are except players for the 2011-2012 season.

Competition at the World Series will continue with the TQR Qualifier for the Carmen Salvino Classic on Friday November 10th. The top 15 bowlers from the TQR will join Jensen and Kulick along with the other exempt players on Monday November 14th starting at 7:30 am.

Tyler Jensen Earns PBA Tour Exemption

Tyler Jensen, a Dick Ritger Bowling Camp graduate, earned a PBA tour exemption for the 2011-12 Season. Jensen earned his tour exemption through the Sands Regency PBA Regional Players Invitational at the National Bowling Stadium December 16, 2010.

Jensen has been a PBA member since 2002. Before the tour went to the exempt format Jensen tried is luck on the PBA Tour. Jensen lives in Fort Worth, Texas and works as a sales rep for Storm.
